The Outpatient Department of the Cardiothoracic Centre facilitates & supports a wide range of specialist clinics from pre & postoperative cardiac surgery, incorporating preoperative assessment, specialist cardiology services with their allied nurse led pre admission clinics & nurse led wound management clinic. They also participate in research & development along with other intermittent specialist clinics such as Grown Up Congenital Heart disease (GUCH) which is run in conjunction with specialist clinicians from Barts NHS trust along with preoperative anaesthetic assessment & post cardiac arrest patient experience clinics.
