Medicare First is currently looking for Social Workers to work full time throughout the Liverpool Region. We are looking for Social workers to work in the below teams:

  • Child Protection
  • Looked After Children
  • Children with Disabilities
  • MASH
  • Fostering
  • Adoption
  • Leaving Care

The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Assessment proceedings and be registered with Social Worker England.

The authorities who are currently recruiting are:

  • Liverpool
  • Wirral
  • Sefton
  • Halton
  • Knowsley
  • Helens

Duties include:

  • Undertaking complex cases
  • Recognised by peers as a source of reliable knowledge and expertise demonstrating critical knowledge of the range of theories and models for social work intervention.
  • Expected to oversee the teaching and assessment of social work students carrying out practice learning placements as required.
